Policies and Procedures
Juggling your professional academic responsibilities, your teaching commitment in the classroom, and your life are at times confusing. Here is a page designed to help you by providing some quick reminders about our policies and procedures for instructors in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. For example:
- Good news! I've been accepted to present at a conference. Can I be absent from class?
- Is there any money available if I would like to improve my teaching skills?
- How can I be more involved in the exam writing process?
- Some instructors are always doing something "extra." Is there any money available for these projects?"
- I'm going to graduate and would like to teach at a small college - what's it really like?
