17th:
Involvement Fair: 12-4 pm on the Oval. If you ever thought about getting involved at Ohio State, and especially if you never thought about it, the Student Involvement Fair is an absolute must! There will be more than 500 student organizations, clubs, community service agencies, campus offices, and local and national businesses on hand to show you what there is to do at Ohio State when you're not in class. The Student Involvement Fair will feature loads of giveaways, music and entertainment, and hundreds of displays and exhibitions.

LangFest: 1-3 pm on the Oval side of Hagerty Hall. LangFest will feature performances, music, and food that bring these languages and cultures alive. This year's performance schedule includes a folk guitar performance, steel pan performers, Latin American Dancers, and the Slavic Folk Society.

Participating units are the Foreign Language Center, and the Departments of African American & African Studies, East Asian Languages & Literatures, French & Italian, Germanic Languages & Literatures, Greek & Latin, Near East Languages & Cultures, Slavic & East European Languages & Literatures, and Spanish & Portuguese.

19th:
Club Hispano Kick-off Meeting: 6:30 pm in Room 45 Hagerty Hall. Topics to be discussed/event ideas for the club including Dia de los Muertos (Nov), 3 Kings (Jan), Tamales Dinner (Feb), Study Abroad Info session, Fiesta in the Fall, Tango dancing. Come with some great ideas, we would love to hear them!

26th:
Club Hispano "Get Involved" meeting: 6:30 pm in Room 45 Hagerty Hall. Columbus community organization representatives will talk about outreach opportunities for members of the club (such as Habitat for Humanity and BBBS).

27th:
Minority Blood Drive: 11-5 pm in Hagerty Hall, A volunteer and donor sign up sheet will be available at the Fair. Our club is sponsoring this blood drive so if any executives or members has a half hour or hour to volunteer at the sign in table during the drive, it would be greatly appreciated! Flamenco and Multi-Cultural Arts Caravan Presents Multi-Cultural Dance Showcase: 100 Hughes Hall. Free and open to public. Come and see colorful and varied dances from all over the world. We invite members of the OSU community, as well as the general public to come and experience a visual array of local international dancing and live music, including drumming, guitar, and voice. Audience members will receive information on how to join the groups that are presenting. The groups are: African Youth Ensemble presenting West African dances in company of the drums of the region, El Ritmo presenting flamenco, Majestic Bellydancing presenting Persian dances and belly dance, Wind of Anatolia presenting regional folk dance from Anatolia, Flamenco Del Corazón presenting Flamenco with live guitar and singing and Scandinavian Dance Group with their folk dances from Scandinavia. 10th Club Hispano Open Meeting: Study Abroad Information Night: 6:30 pm in Room 45 Hagerty Hall. Come to learn about the different programs abroad offered with the Department of Spanish & Portuguese.

12th
New York City's Repertorio Español: 7:30 p.m. the Wexner Center's Mershon Auditorium will host a live theatrical performance staged completely in Spanish (with English translation headphones available) of Gabriel García Márquez' "Crónica de Una Muerte Anunciada" (Chronicle of a Death Foretold). Students tickets only $2. Tickets are only available at the Wexner Center Ticket Office. Reserve a headphone for FREE at the time of purchase. Hurry, supply is limited. Following the performance, Fronteras de la Noticia will host its second anniversary party at the Wexner Center for the Arts. Live Salsa music and cash bar will be available. Admission is FREE.
