(Re)Defining Indentities in Moments of Transition
Call for Papers
On behalf of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, the Graduate Student Symposium Committee invites the submission of abstracts and panel proposals for its Symposium. Contributions may be in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, and can be situated within any subfield of the culture and literature, and linguistics areas. It is the purpose of this encounter to debate these issues from the perspectives of each participant’s research agenda.The fee will be $25 for graduate students and $40 for faculty if paid by March 28th. The fee will be $35 for graduate students and $50 for faculty if paid after April 4th. (Fees can be paid by check or money order cashiers' check only)

Submission Policy:
Individual presentations should be no longer than 20 minutes in duration (that is 7-9 pages double-spaced). Abstracts and panel proposals must be at most 250 words. They may be submitted in .pdf, .ps, .doc, or .rtf attachments. Submissions are anonymous. The body of the e-mail should contain the following information: title of the paper/panel proposal, area of specialization, name, postal address, e-mail, and affiliation of the author(s)
