Spanish Listening & Reading Proficiency Exam (SLRPE)
The Spanish Listening and Reading Proficiency Exam is:
- Required for any student wishing to take upper-level Spanish classes (400 and above)
- Student must have passed or be taking Spanish 250 or H104
- It is not a test of oral proficiency! Students are asked to analyze and summarize written and listening passages in Spanish. These passages are graded on how well the student is able to understand and organize the information presented in the passages.
