Select thesis advisor and one other thesis committee member in consultation with advisor. Visit http://aschonors.osu.edu/oralExam/ for proper oral exam paperwork and instructions

At least 3 quarters prior to graduation (preferably earlier!)

|
Register with OSU Libraries Knowledge Bank.
|
The same quarter of oral exam and thesis submission.
|
|
Obtain committee approval for thesis proposal.
|
No later than the middle of the quarter before graduation
|
|
Submit preliminary draft to members of committee other than advisor for comment.
|
By 3rd week of graduation quarter
|
|
Your advisor should schedule a time and place for your oral exam and identify the Honors outside representative.
|
By middle of graduation quarter
|
|
Prepare final draft and distribute to committee.
|
2 weeks before oral exam date (6th week)
|
|
Take oral exam and report results to the Arts & Sciences Honors Office.
|
Immediately following your oral exam (8th week)
|
|
Inform all instructors that final grades for ALL courses are due to the registrar for all graduating students.
|
*Thursday or Friday of finals week depending on the day of your final.
|
|
Make all necessary revisions and submit final version of approved thesis to your faculty advisor, the Coordinating Faculty Honors Advisor, the ASC Honors office, and to the OSU Libraries Knowledge Bank.
|
*No later than the day before commencement
