Aristbulo Pardo Prize for Undergraduate Excellence in Spanish
- Eligibility: Majors in Spanish Nominations by Faculty only Awards made Spring quarter
The LoAnn Crane Award for Hispanic Studies
- Eligibility: Majors in Spanish who are planning to study or travel in a Spanish-speaking country during the 12-month period following the granting of this award
- Criteria: Excellent academic performance, letters of recommendation, personal statement, and quality of research to be conducted while abroad or the quality of the proposed study-abroad program
- Stipend: Varies
- Application deadline: Fourth Friday of the Spring Quarter
Mario Iglesias Award for Study AbroadLanguage Studies Scholarship
- Eligibility: Majors in Spanish who are planning to study or travel in a Spanish-speaking country during the 12-month period following the granting of this award
- Criteria: Excellent academic performance, letters of recommendation, personal statement, and quality of research to be conducted while abroad or the quality of the proposed study-abroad program. Applicants for the LoAnn Crane Award are automatically considered for the Mario Iglesias Award
- Stipend: $500 Awards made Spring quarter
Club Hispano Study Abroad Scholarship
- Eligibility: Majors and Minors in Spanish who are planning to study abroad. Recipients of this scholarship must exhibit strong community service credentials and a commitment to Spanish. Preference will be given to active members of the OSU Club Hispano.
- Criteria: Excellent academic performance as shown on Advising Report, application form, letters of recommendation, resum (optional), budget/expense sheet, personal statement.
- Stipend: Varies
- Application deadline: March 1
ICALP Scholarship for Study in Portugal
- Eligibility: Majors or Minors in Portuguese, with preference given to students enrolled in Portuguese 104 or above
- Stipend: Approximately $550 plus tuition Application deadline: March 1st
