Refreshments will be served, and books will be available for purchase (cash only). Panelists:Luli Penna is a Brazilian illustrator and cartoonist. She publishes political charges and weekly cartoons in women's magazines, Piauí magazine, and in the newspaper Folha de São Paulo. She is the author of the graphic novel Sem dó (No Pity), which is set in São Paulo in the 1920s. Following the time period of the story, Penna abandons speech ballons as an homage to silent films. Leonardo Tonus is Maître des Conférences at Sorbonne Université and Chevalier des Palmes Académiques. He curated the exhibit "Oswald de Andrade: passeur anthropophage" (Centre Georges Pompidou) as well as the Salon du Livre de Paris. Tonus is the author of Littérature Brésilienne Contemporaine, Olhar Paris, and Escrever Berlim. In 2018, Tonus published Agora vai ser assim (It will be like this from now on), his first collection of poems. Natalia Borges Polesso writes weekly chronicles for the newspaper Pioneiro. She is the author of Recortes para álbum de fotografía sem gente (winner of Açorianos Prize) and Amora (winner of the AGE prize in 2016 and the Jabuti prize in 2017, Spanish and Romanian editions). Her most recent short story book, Amora, explores the nuances of homosexual relationships among women. Alexandre Vidal Porto is the author of the novels Matias na cidade (Matias in the city) and Sergio Y. (winner of the Paraná Literary Prize for Best Novel, English edition by Europa Editions).
