Kendra V. Dickinson is a doctoral candidate in Hispanic Linguistics at the Ohio State University. Her principal areas of interest are sociolinguistics and morphosyntactic variation. Her research applies diverse methodologies to the study of how relationships between linguistic systems and social contexts of language forms elucidate the motivations for language variation and change. In particular, her research has focused on Spanish and Bilingualism in social media, morphosyntactic variation in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, and cross-Romance comparative study.
