Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Megan graduated with her Master's in Spanish from Ohio University and is passionate about the literature of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz and World Language Education for L2 Spanish Speakers. Although Athens will always be hOUme, she is excited for her time as a Buckeye at OSU! Her goals and passions in education are to encourage students to build their bilingual abilities and gain confidence along the way. She loves to show her students how education is an opportunity to explore new ideas and thoughts, and to push themselves to branch out of their comfort zone.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hanging out with her two very adorable cats (Mowgli and Milo), kayaking, hiking, painting and baking. Her favorite books in English include: The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolken, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. Her favorite books in Spanish include: El murmullo de las abejas by Sofia Segovia, La vida es sueño by Pedro Calderón de la Barca, and Poems, Protest and a Dream: Collection of works by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz.
