Caroline Shipley is specializing in Latin American Literary and Cultural Analysis. In addition to teaching Spanish Language and Culture classes, she has taught the GE course "Introduction to Andean and Amazonian Cultures" and served as Teaching Assistant for the GE "Latin American Literature in Translation: Fictions and Realities." Her research focuses on contemporary cultural production in Andean urban spaces. This semester, Caroline is a research fellow for the Center of Humanities in Practice, working as an intern at the Ohio Humanities Council.
