Spanish or Portuguese Credit by Exam (EM) Registration

Starting in the Spring 2021 semester and until further notice, the Spanish and Portuguese EM exams will only be offered at the end of the semester.

Students who have received a failing grade or a "W" for a course in Spanish are not eligible to take an EM Test for that course or to receive EM Credit for the failed course.

Exam dates selected below must be during pre-established sessions set by SPPO. Requests to take exams outside those sessions will not be considered.

The exam will be administered remotely, taken through Carmen but proctored through Proctorio.

There is a $60 administration fee that I must pay prior to taking the exam. I will pay this fee once I receive confirmation of my EM Registration.

If I miss the window of my exam without providing documentation, I may not be able to reschedule the exam.

I am not officially registered for the EM test until I receive a confirmation email from the SPPO testing coordinators to my OSU email account.
