Add to Calendar 2016-02-08 19:30:00 2016-02-08 22:00:00 Brasilian Jazz In honor of Carnaval, an evening of Brasilian Jazz (ala Antonio Carlos Jobim, Mossier Santos,  Dori Caymmi, etc.) will be performed by Vaughn Wiester’s Famous Jazz Orchestra (22 musicians, plus singers). The band performs every Monday night, with very few exceptions, from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. Arrive and leave the casual informal atmosphere whenever you wish. Cost is just $10 for adults and $5 for students, with ample free parking. Soup, snacks and setups are sold. There are (unreserved) both table seating, and row chairs.You can hear/see the band on their website.  Vaughn is a former university jazz instructor, a jazz arranger, and former trombonist with the Woody Herman Orchestra.
