
The Iberian Studies Group at the Deparment of Spanish and Portuguese will be holding a roundtable discussion on the current crisis in Catalonia, and consequently in Spain. Scholars from and outside OSU will address the causes and possible consequences of the push for independence, which has resulted in the most serious political conflict the country has seen since the restoration of democracy after Franco. The event will take place in Page Hall 10 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. We encourage you to attend and share your thoughts and questions on a conflict that poses relevant questions about democracy and soverignty for the entire world.
