Latino Arts for Humanity is organizing their "Day of the Dead Community Event" to be held at Parkview United Methodist Church. Latino Arts for humanity is a local nonprofit organization that exists to encourage, develop, and preserve the arts and cultural heritage of the Latino community. This year, the event will feature the project of "Frida Katrina," in which community members can experience papel picado, sugar skulls, alebrijes and build a small altar to their ancestors. The events are free and open to the public. For more information, please visit: http://latinoartsforhumanity.blogspot.com/
