Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Latino Film Series: Confession a Laura

The Latino Film Series screens movies that are relevant to the Latino Culture and that bring awareness of the Latino community’s diversity.

 
The film showing this week  is Confesión a Laura, " a story of love frustrated by political circumstances. Laura, a spinster schoolteacher, lives to Josefina and Santiago, public employee. The three characters will be besieged by 24 hours, targeted by snipers, will be forced to show such which are or they would have liked to be.The action is situated in Colombia on April 9, 1948, date in which took place the famous "Bogotazo". A facilitated dialogue will follow the film. Topics will include how to support our communities and how to create change.  All films are from Colombia, except El rumor de las piedras, which is from Venezuela.
