Boren Scholarships for 2014-15 provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate students to add an important international and language component to their education. These scholarships focus on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study that are critical to U.S. national security, broadly defined, and underrepresented in study abroad. You do not have to have studied the critical language previously to apply. Boren will award up $20,000 per student for one academic year of study abroad. See 2013 OSU recipient award.
