Bateria C7 is a percussion group formed by Engineering students from Universidade Federal do Paraná - UFPR, in Curitiba, Brazil. They play a variety of Brazilian music styles, including Samba. They will be visiting Marietta College from October 14th to October 19th, interacting with the campus and local community as well as performing and offering workshops.
Their performance on October 15th from 12:00-1:30 PM will be held on The Christy Mall. Later that evening, from 6:00-7:00 PM, they will hold a Meet and Greet in the Multicultural Center. On October 16th from 6:00-7:00 PM they will host "Learn with Bateria C7" in the Hermann Fine Arts Center lobby. Following this activity, from 7:30-9:00 PM "Cook with Bateria C7" will be held in the Multicultural Center. On October 18th from 6:00-8:00 PM Bateria C7 will perform in The Gathering Place and mocktails will be offered. These events are free and open to the public!
In addition to their listed performances, they will also be performing at Over the Moon Pub and Pizza on October 19th at 7:30 PM.
