This month's Portuguese Film Series screening is of the drama The Murmuring Coast (Portugal, 2004), "A Costa dos Murmúrios" is the original title. The film was directed by Margarida Cardoso and is 120 minutes long.
Summary:
"At the end of the '60s, Evita arrives in Mozambique and finds herself in a country devastated by the colonial war with Portugal. She is to marry Luís who is doing his military service. When Luís is to fight, Evita is left alone wandering around the city where she starts discovering how violence changes men... and also her husband."
