What is SACNAS?

SACNAS is a society of scientists dedicated to fostering the success of Hispanic/Chicano and Native American scientists to attain advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in science.

What are we about?

SACNAS chapters throughout the nation provide:

  • year round, local support for students
  • strength and leadership development for students
  • sharing of information and resources
  • peer-to-peer mentorship
  • a way to give back to their communities
