The Organization of Hispanic and Latino Faculty and Staff and the Department of Spanish and Portuguese present: “Tears of the Trufflepigor the Novel as the Research Itself” by Fernando A. Flores
Winner of the 2018 Discovery Prize in Fiction, Flores discusses his first novel, the loss of the oral storytelling tradition, the telling of our stories through new forms, and the importance of surrealism and the avant-garde in the creative process.
