Underwater Dreams Screening

Box by a pool
October 2, 2014
All Day
AMC Lennox Town Center movie theater 24

The PAST Foundation and COSI are partnering to bring the screening of the documentary, Underwater Dreams!

This film, written and directed by Mary Mazzio, and narrated by Michael Peña, details the amazing story of how the sons of undocumented Mexican immigrants built an underwater Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) robot using off-the-shelf Home Depot parts. Their innovative design went on to win the National ROV Design Challenge over other entrants - including engineering powerhouse MIT.

Their story is an example of how we can use real-world challenges to engage our students, create an excitement and enthusiasm for learning and collaboration, and push them to limits that even they never dreamed possible. The end goal is to provide them with the life skills necessary to be successful in the future!

This is an event that you will not want to miss. If you have questions, please let me know. I hope you will be able to join us!

This event is free, but we ask that you register via our Past Innovation Lab Page.
