This Sunday, November 17 from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. in Hagerty Hall 255 the Kawsay Ukhunchay Andean and Amazonian Indigenous Art Collection welcomes special guests from The Tandana Foundation. The Tandana Foundation has longstanding ties with Ohio. Anna Taft, originally from Columbus and a graduate of Whitman College, founded the organization in 1998. This autumn, she and community partners from Ecuador and Mali have been teaching workshops on Andean Worldview and Global Interactions at Whitman College, Miami University, University of Dayton, as well as various museums and public libraries throughout Ohio. Their next stop is Ohio State University on Sunday, Nov. 17!
