Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Central Ohio Vice President, Sharyn Rigsbee, presented to 20 Spanish & Portuguese Club members last night, in spite of the inclement Columbus weather, about Project Mentor, which pairs OSU students with local Columbus City Schools 7th graders, who are bilingual. The mentor relationships that are created through this program constitute a meaningful way for our students to connect with our community, using their Spanish, to both learn from and provide guidance to children who need a positive presence in their lives.
