On April 28, 2026, the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University held its Spring Recognition Reception at the Daley Family Pavilion at the Blackwell to celebrate faculty, staff, and student achievements.

Professor Isis Barra Costa, Department of Spanish and Portuguese, was the recipient of the 2025–2026 ASC Early-Career Faculty Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding performance in research, teaching, and service at the time of review for promotion and tenure. The award recipient is selected by the College Promotion and Tenure Faculty Review Committee.
