SPPO Graduate student Santiago Gualapuro Gualapuro has organized a series of webinars in Kichwa to be hosted by a variety of Kichwa experts during May 2020.  Each webinar will address an important and timely issue, such as the Kichwa language and language policy; health issues facing Kichwa communities; Kichwa legal system, and migration.  In addition to Gualapuro, the series will feature Daqui Lema from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Ibarra, Isabel Gualapuro from Universidad Central Quito, Israel Andrango from the Centro de Mediacion Comunitaria; and Fabian Muenala from the radio station Kichwa Hatari in New York. The webinars will start at 6:00 PM EST, 5:00 PM Ecuadorean time.
