Prof. Anna Babel gave an invited workshop on the topic of "Ideologías lingüísticas en las lenguas minoritarias del mundo hispanohablante" (Language ideologies in minority languages of the Spanish-speaking world) at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in Mexico City over Spring Break. 

The four-day event was organized by Dr. Nadiezdha Torres Sánchez and co-hosted by the Instituto de Investigaciones Filológicas and the Instituto de Investigaciones Antropológicas.
