"Voigt Awarded Fulbright U.S. Scholar Grant to Portugal"

Lisa Voigt, associate professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholar Grant. Voigt will be affiliated with the Universidade Nova de Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal, where she will be a visiting researcher at the Center for Overseas History (CHAM) during 2015-2016. Voigt will be conducting research at the National Library and other libraries and archives for her book project, "Performing Global Cultures in Early Modern Portuguese Festivals."
