The Society for Renaissance & Baroque Hispanic Poetry (SRBHP), which focuses on the poetry of early modern Spain and Colonial Latin America, held its 13th Biennial Conference at the Universidad de Sevilla, October 18-20, 2017. The President of the society, Professor Elizabeth Davis (OSU), worked closely with the local organizing committee and its Coordinator, Professor Juan Montero (Universidad de Sevilla) to ensure the success of the conference. With some 110 participants from the US, Europe, and Latin America, reading papers of the highest quality, the conference far surpassed all possible expectations! The 14th Biennial Conference will take place in autumn, 2019, at the University of California, Irvine.
