From the vibrant campus of Ohio State University to dynamic college classrooms, my journey has been fueled by a passion for inspiring students through the beauty of language. I earned my undergraduate degree in Spanish with a minor in French and later pursued a master’s in educational psychology from Kent State University. Currently, I work as an educational therapist at a local organization.
With eight years of experience teaching high school Spanish, I’ve found great joy in transitioning to college-level instruction. I believe in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students can truly thrive. My approach centers on fostering a love for language and culture, encouraging students to connect deeply with what they’re learning. By tailoring my teaching methods to individual needs, I empower students to explore the richness of language, helping them become confident communicators.
Outside the classroom, I love to travel, listen to my favorite artists, and spend quality time with family and friends. I’m also a language enthusiast, having studied Spanish, French, Italian, and German—and I’m currently diving into Greek! Looking ahead, I’m committed to advancing my academic journey with the goal of pursuing a PhD.
