Dr. Guisela Latorre (Department of Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies) and Dr. Elena Foulis (Department of Spanish and Portuguese) are organizing a performance flash mob in The Oval on Tuesday, March 31th from 2-3pm. The flash mob will be performing “Un violador en tu camino” (A Rapist in Your Way) to denounce sexual violence against women and to commemorate the end of women’s history month. The first flash mob to perform to this song took place in Chile in November, 2019. The song has been performed all over the world, in many languages, and the performance here at OSU will be in Spanish and English. You can find more information (including the lyrics in both languages) by visiting the following link: https://thefreeonline.wordpress.com/2019/11/30/a-rapist-in-your-way-videos-and-texts-un-violador-en-tu-camino-power-perfomance-sweeping-latin-america/
