Día de los Muertos Celebration 2021
The first day of the 2021 Día de los Muertos celebration kicked off on Saturday, October 16th! Participants of all ages spent the day at Greenlawn Cemetery where they enjoyed altar displays, exhibitions, traditional Aztec dance, local art and food vendors. Bones were rattled and creativity was flowing as original Calavera poems were shared with among the attendees! Many thanks to all who attended to celebrate the day with the OSU community!
More celebration for Día de los Muertos will be taking place in the Hagerty Hall Atrium on Tuesday, November 2nd complete with hot chocolate, pan de muerto, an interactive Tree of Life to honor our loved ones, and sugar skull candles!
For more information about the event on November 2nd, please contact Dr. Paloma Martinez-Cruz.
