The 2023-2024 academic year has been a period of remarkable accomplishments for our graduate student, Maria Vitória de Rezende Grisi. Her dedication to her research and scholarly pursuits has earned her numerous grants and scholarships, enabling her to present her work at prominent conferences and conduct essential research.

One of her most significant achievements is securing the International Research and Scholar Grant, which will allow her to conduct research at the Library of Congress. This research is crucial to her dissertation, providing invaluable resources for her studies.

Moreover, Maria Vitória was honored with a scholarship from the Fundação Luso-Americana para o Desenvolvimento. This prestigious award supported her two-month research stay in Portugal, where she accessed the rich collections of the national library and archives. Her research experience in Portugal represents a major milestone in her academic journey.

In addition to her academic achievements, Maria Vitória is currently a finalist in the People's Choice voting for the 2024 International Photography Exhibition. Her photograph, taken during her time in Portugal, captures a beautiful moment that reflects her unique perspective and creative talent.
