Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

SPPO Alumna Featured in the CLLC's Hagerty Happenings Newsletter

Anna Lieswyn

SPPO alumna, Anna Lieswyn, graduated from OSU in 2017 with a double major in Spanish and Comparative Cultural Studies with a minor in Latino/a Studies. During her time studying abroad in Chile in 2015, she discovered her love for teaching English. Anna has since been awarded the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship and currently works in Spain as an instructor of English in Santiago de Compostela in the autonomous region of Galicia.

Anna's advice to current OSU students is: “Take advantage of everything, and don’t be afraid to apply for anything!”
