Brazil Global May – This program will introduce students to Brazilian history, culture, society and contemporary issues. Through coursework in the classroom as well as through experiential learning, students will gain a unique perspective of this emerging world power. Several field trips will introduce students to the history and culture of both the south and northeast of Brazil, as well as the natural environment of the areas. There will also be opportunities for students to collaborate and interact with Brazilian university students to foster cross-cultural dialogue and engage in activities and service projects.

Bolivia Global May – This program will study Andean cultures and literature, examine Bolivia's key historical moments, and explore contemporary social, political, economic and cultural issues. The program will begin in the tropical city of Santa Cruz, where focus will be on urban planning and the recent growth of the city. A few days will then be spent in Cochabamba where several sites will be visited, and there will be a focus on rural development in the area. The trip will conclude in La Paz and its surrounding areas. Students will visit the many museums and sites in La Paz an attend a lecture at the university.

Spain Global May – This interdisciplinary course introduces students to the multicultural and global history of the city of Madrid. The course will examine the history of Madrid, a city which, like Spain itself, was shaped by empires, global crossings, immigration, migration and international commerce throughout history, long predating Madrid's designation as the capital. This program also explores the northern region of Spain, including Bilbao and Santander.
