Andrea is a fourth-year Ph.D student whose interests revolve around literature and writing produced by women in Latin America from colonial times to the present day. She has worked with colonial religious texts, and now her research focuses on the legal processes and testaments of indigenous women in the Hispanic American colony. This dissertation project is funded by the Global Arts & Humanities Discovery Theme Fellowship for the 2022-2023 academic year. Andrea has published articles and reviews in magazines, as well as a book of short stories and is part of various narrative anthologies in Ecuador and Spain.
