Clara is a first-year student in OSU's doctoral program for Latin American Cultural and Literary Studies. Her research interests center around contemporary Southern Cone Literature, author and translator positionality, and Indigenous and immigrant influence on Latin American literature and culture. Having graduated Stony Brook University with a B.A. in Linguistics and Hispanic Languages and Literature, she is also interested in heritage and minority language preservation and revitalization and the intersections between heritage culture and personal identity.
