Gabriel Guzman Camacho is a 3rd-year Ph.D. student in the Latin American program. He completed a B.A. degree in communications, focusing on literature. Recently, his main research interests are focused on Bolivian and Andean cultural studies that interrelate to different sociopolitical processes at a Latin American and global scale. In this sense, he addresses topics like politics of memory and oblivion, the discourse of development, modernization, globalization, and such on. He works with different cultural expressions like novels, films, comics, etc. that helps to integrate theory and practice.
