Tara is a Ph.D. student in Hispanic Linguistics. She received her BA in Anthropology, Linguistics and Spanish with minors in Portuguese and Social and Behavioral Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin in 2021, and her MA in Hispanic Linguistics from The Ohio State University in 2023. Her current projects focus on second language acquisition of phonology and language pedagogy. Her past research projects have focused on the intersection of language and identity in bilinguals, code-switching, and lexical fluency in early bilinguals.
