Tara Lynn Hazel is a first-year student in The Ohio State University’s Hispanic Linguistics M.A./Ph.D. program. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Anthropology, Linguistics, and Spanish with a minor in Portuguese. Her interests include sociolinguistics, bilingualism, and linguistic identity. Her past research projects have focused on the intersection of language and identity in Spanish-English bilinguals, code-switching, and lexical fluency in early Spanish-English bilinguals.
