Victor Pastrana, originally from Lima, Peru, is a PhD student in Linguistics at The Ohio State University. Before joining OSU, he completed a Master’s degree in Hispanic Studies at Auburn University, where he focused on bilingual language acquisition. He also holds a Master’s degree in School Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. At Ohio State, Victor serves as a Graduate Teaching Associate in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, where he enjoys helping students develop their Spanish language skills and intercultural awareness.
Outside of academia, Victor enjoys traveling and cooking Peruvian food.
