In your recall protocol, it is important that you write the main idea along with the most significant details that you understood. You can write in a narrative style (Option #1) or each idea on a separate line (Option #2). Your score will be determmined by the number of ideas that you understood accurately (see scoring table below).
Option #1
The atomic war brought about the end of humanity and civilization. The earth was like a burned up desert. In a region of the East (Orient), a child survived. He was the son of a spaceship pilot. The child survived by eating grass and sleeping in a cave. Deeply affected by the horror of the disaster, the child only cried and called out for his father. With the passing of time, his memories began to fade and dissolve. They became separated/arbitrary from him; more like a distant dream. His horror transformed into a vague fear. At times he would remember his father, who used to smile at him, or even scold him. Or he recalled when his father launched into space in his spaceship, surrounded by flames and noise, lost in the clouds. Crazy from the solitud, the boy fell to his knees and begged for the return of his father. Meanwhile, the earth began to be covered once again with new vegetation; the plants produced abundant flowers, and the tress, fruit. The child had become a boy and began to explore the country. One day he saw a bird. Another day he saw a wolf. Another day, he unexpectedly came upon a young girl, his age, who had also survived the horrors of the atomic war.
-"What is your name?", he asked her.
-"Eve", she answered, "and yours?"
-"Adam".
