Marina Ortega Lopez is a Graduate Teaching Associate and PhD student in Iberian Literary and Cultural Studies at Ohio State University. Her research focuses on 19th-century literature in Peninsular Spain, particularly periodicals and Gender and Sexuality Studies. She is also pursuing a graduate minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Ohio State University. Additionally, her interests extend into interdisciplinary studies that explore the relationship between literature and teaching practices. Marina holds a Master's degree in Hispanic Studies from Auburn University and another Master's degree in Teaching and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Jaén in Spain.
