Adriana is a first-year student in the Ohio State University’s M.A./Ph.D. program, focusing on Latin American cultural and literary studies. She completed her BA. degree in Education with teaching majors in Humanities and Languages (Spanish, English, French). Her primary research interests are focused on cultural expressions like poetry, literature, and films produced particularly in Colombia by or in collaboration with the indigenous communities. Her research includes topics like indigenous movements, race, identity, migration, Colombia and its relationship with the Andes Area.
