SPPO logo

We are proud to congratulate SPPO graduate students Olivia Cosentino and Celia Martinez Saez, who have been selected as 2 of the 10 Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA) winners this year. Please join us in celebrating this honor and thanking Celia and Olivia for their great work as educators!

The GATA is OSU's highest recognition of exceptional teaching on the part of graduate students serving as Graduate Teaching Associates. In the selection process, committee members look for evidence that nominees demonstrate superior organizational skills at course development and management, excellent knowledge and enthusiasm for the course subject matter, excellence in stimulating thinking and using varied teaching techniques, and a willingness to solicit feedback about their teaching as well as an ability to implement changes for improvement.
